dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
The Create Selection Set command allows you to create a selection set of elements that have database linkages to records displayed and selected in the grid of the main dialog.
This is at most a simple three step process. First, use dbWindow to process your database query to bring the records into the grid item. Second, select one or more of the returned rows. Third, choose the Create Selection Set command.
All graphic elements that contain a linkage to any of the selected rows will be added to a selection set. Reference file elements are also considered.
