dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
The Settings dialog has a Pick Lists tab where users can specify a list of values to be presented to someone when editing a column. Basically, when a user double clicks a field within the grid item under a column set to have a pick list then a list box will drop down forcing the user to select one of the set values.
Users can set as many column pick lists as needed in as many different tables as needed.
The Get values from SQL Select statement option instructs dbWindow to process the specified SQL Select statement to obtain the values displayed in the pick list.
