dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
dbWindow gives the system administrator the control to enforce how the user manipulates linkages attached to elements.

The Utilize complex components option determines whether components of a complex element are ignored or not during an attach, review, locate, or detach linkage operation.
In order to reduce the attachment of too many linkages and alert users to potential problems, dbWindow can be set to allow only one linkage per table and/or only one data linkage and/or only one feature linkage per element. An optional warning can be displayed upon attaching a new linkage about the replacement of any existing linkages if only one can exist. Any replaced linkages can also optionally have the database record deleted.
So if you are concerned about what your users are doing when attaching linkages to elements, then relax and let dbWindow police the attachments.
You need to download dbWindow to try all the powerful features.
