dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
The Insert Text from DGN command allows you to select a text element in your design file and insert that text in a field in the grid item on the main dialog.
After initiating the command, you will be prompted to select a text element from the design file. This may be a simple text element, a line of text from a textnode, or text from within a cell. You would then single click a grid field on the main dialog box where you want the chosen text to be written. The text element may be selected from a reference file.
Insert Text from DGN and Add Link is identical to Insert Text from DGN with two exceptions.
A database linkage will be placed on the selected graphic element.
Only master file elements may be selected.
