dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
The Export utility will output data into a text file right from your database. It’s fast, easy and comprehensive with many powerful options.
You can specify the text file name either by keying it in or by using the Browse button to select an existing file name.
The File Open Mode option button allows you to specify whether the exported data should Overwrite any existing data or Append to any existing data in the text file.
The export format can utilize a delimiter character and/or specified column widths.
Export Options - There are three ways to export your data:
Export all the data in the grid.
Export only any selected rows in the grid.
Export data returned from a processed SQL Select statement.
The Select Statement field is used to key in a SQL Select statement or you may use the Build select statement button to open the dbWindow build select statement dialog.
The export file can optionally be given a header containing column names and/or it can be formatted to include a grid pattern for further readability.
