dbWindow 3.0 removes all the stumbling blocks to using a database with MicroStation
dbWindow now fully supports column properties that give a database administrator the power to ensure users provide values for columns set to have a nonnull property, and values can be verified as unique given in columns set with the unique property.
So if you need to set certain fields to require user input, simply set the column property to nonnull. Then, when the user goes to commit the data any fields violating the nonnull or unique property settings will be identified and must be fixed before the commit can be processed.

This settings dialog is password protected so that only users with the proper authority can alter the system parameters.
You need to download dbWindow to try all the powerful features.
